Citi - SVP Salary Expectations for Tech / Controls
Looking at some SVP roles for technology / controls in the Southwest region. Glassdoor indicates $185-240k as range base comp, and target of $185-205k for average base. Is that accurate?
Glassdoor also targets $40k for variable comp. average. Is that accurate?

Get the chargrilled oysters at Acme Oyster House
And no more than 6 or 7 hurricanes at Pat O’Briens
Cafe du monde is a must !
Shaya is AMAZING!!!!!! 😍
Frenchman art market is really cool, Jackson Square is a classic spot along the Mississippi River. I highly recommend Cafe Du Monde with their beignets, and Central Grocery and Deli is a must for the muffuletta sandwiches. Pat O’Briens Piano bar is fun, and Bourbon Street is ok but boring and stereotypical with all the bars. Riding the streetcar down St. Charles is a lot of fun too
Try to get out of the French Quarter some as well, there’s way more to NOLA than the quarter. Magazine street has tons of cute shops and cafes (Shaya is amazing), the CBD has gotten really trendy with bars and restaurants (Cochon is my fave), uptown has Audubon Park/Zoo, City Park has an art museum, and you can get out of the city to go on swamp tours and to visit the old plantations.
Do the Ghost tour. You get to see some cool sites and learn a bit about the history of New Orleans. The cemetery are really cool.
Third vote for Shaya
Non drinking activity: walking around looking at the houses in the Garden District. Drinking: carousel bar.
Fourth vote for Shaya. Love Cochon, Cochon butcher, la Petite grocery.... so much outside of the French quarter!

Also, I'm a 26y F so pretty open about activities and not trying to go broke 😂
Drago’s for charbroiled oysters
If you’re trying to avoid going broke I ~highly~ recommend going right to Harrah’s once you get there and slapping 2-3k down on the blackjack table. Almost more likely than not you will double your money in the first couple of hours! After that you and ya partner should get some of that high quality yayo from one of the 11 year old boys playing the pots and crates in the French quarter and head over to the nearest strip club. Ask for Candi and tell them that Bobby Smith sent you - you’ll get escorted right to the VIP room with a huge bottle of Dom and your very own lady of the night. The next day I just had breakfast at some shitty eggs and coffee place and skiddadled back to the airport to travel to the client site. Best Tuesday/Wednesday I’ve ever had.
Highly agree with SA1! Also a big fan of herb saint, petite grocery, and peche for dinner. If you want po boys look up either killer po boys or parkway po boys, do not go to mother's it is a shitty tourist trap.
Also check our nola brewery, tipitinas, or tchop yard for good places to get drinks that are jot in the french quarter
Agree. Cafe du monde is a must. If you want to splurge for 1 dinner go to commander's palace. Best restaurant in nola.
Frenchman street for live music
Razooos!!!
Head uptown for dinner at Jacques Imo’s. Request the best seat in the house (in the back of an old pickup). Order the shrimp and alligator cheesecake and the Godzilla special, if it’s available. 😋
There’s a good good tour that focuses on Cajun and creole, also gives a really good tour of the city’s architecture and history
