Am I mad to follow love instead of money? Context: 24 years old, got a great job as a commodity broker, been doing it one year now and bonus has grown substantially every quarter. My company will probably not relocate me - our presence is tiny in Oz, meaning I can only get a working holiday visa (temp jobs). Am I mad to move for love?

Is it unprofessional, politically incorrect, or a micro-aggression to ask an Indian coworker if they celebrate Diwali? The intention is just to say happy Diwali, but I’m not sure if that’s the same as asking someone their religion, which can sometimes be seen as rude.

The only way I studied in college is by cramming. Sadly is so hard for me to get studying as it just seems like it’s so long of studying till you take the test and never ends. Have any of you guys passed FAR in a month of cramming? I’m also working but my clients are a little bit easier this time of year and have some PTO days at the end of next month. A friend of mine has a wedding scheduled on Sunday evening in the west coast (we are in the east coast) and my husband is saying he can’t go because he has work on Monday (not remote). He is a doctor and is saying his schedule has 0 flexibility for change. Does anyone have any insight on how credible what he’s saying is? I’m just so frustrated that he isnt even trying to change his schedule - how can something be absolutely fixed?! Do doctors just miss all life events/friend’s weddings?!
