Quite a few European cities have companies that offer free walking tours that are 2-3 hours in duration. You basically just tip the guide at the end what you feel the tour was worth. Usually €10-20 a person. Always a great way to learn about the city and get a lay of the land so to speak. Munich, Prague, Amsterdam, and Berlin were all through Sandeman's New Europe Tours. Additionally these companies usually offer additional tours at a cost.
When we go to Europe, we do free walking tours... essentially the tour will take you to all major sites in the city- without going inside!
Think of it like a crash course- and later on decide where you want to explore further 🕺🏼👨🏽💻🤷🏽♂️
All major cities in Italy have 20 euro pp hop on hop off open top bus tours. Generally run 9-5.

I have used Viator tours all over the world. In Italy, we did an awesome walking tour of Florence and a 1/2 day trip to several wineries for my favorite (Brunello). A grandma (Nona) cooked fresh pasta for us while we sat at the table sipping wine and tasting charcuterie made from the pigs they raised on the hillside. Amazing experience and I highly recommend Viato

Traveling to Rome, Florence, Venice and Sorrento in May. We are using a tour service for the guided tours during the days (skip the line passes, etc). Any musts for drinks, dining, sightseeing, etc. in those cities? First time traveling to 🇮🇹.
Which guided tour service are you using?
