As someone who dealt with infertility for years, I would say go for it. Just know that the experience will be different (fewer doctor appointments, for example). I'm pregnant again now, and am really anxious about the situation at the hospital, but my doctor has been assuring me that there are protocols in place to keep us safe. Of course this also means we'll have to be more careful about friends and family meeting the baby, which will be hard and so disappointing for the grandparents. All things considered though, given our age and other factors, I also wouldn't have opted for postponing having another baby for God knows how long this thing is going to last.
We got pregnant 4 weeks before shit hit the fan. This is our second and we are so excited but it’s very different than my first. You do not know how long it will take so don’t delay!
Yep, get started if you’re ready. Our first took no time to conceive, but the second took months, very unexpected. You just never know, so no reason to wait!
Go for it. Our first took one try. Our second took a miscarriage following by 6-7 months of trying so total time was just under a year after deciding plus the 9 months of being pregnant.. you really never know until you start trying.
I would add though to consider some form of meditation/relaxation techniques. I read cribsheet when I was pregnant (great book!), and I remember references to a study on prolonged stress on fetuses of pregnant ladies. Not saying that freak you out or anything but it was an interesting study of women who found themselves in similar situations (may have been a natural disaster with prolonged effects or something, I'm fuzzy on the details).
Yes! Manage your stress levels. For me, at 13 weeks this pregnancy has been healthier than my first. I’m not traveling and my husband has been so supportive so although work is crazy, I’m sleeping well, working out and eating healthy home cooked meals. I’m happy at home with husband and toddler. For my first pregnancy, my husband and I were both traveling, I was eating less healthy on the road, I wasn’t working out due to insane work and morning sickness. I have COVID stress for sure but by all other accounts this pregnancy is healthier than my first. You can manage your life and stress to protect your baby!

No time is really ever the "right" time. Don't let the coronavirus be an excuse to keep you from living your life! Good luck!

Trying does not guarantee pregnancy
In the same boat.... going to have my IUD yanked as soon as the docs kinda open back up.
I am on a fully funded client project through 2021 and also on deck for SM so who knows what will happen lol. Timing is what it is.
Good luck!!!
