Keep checking your cervical mucus. I know it sounds gross, but it helps you know if you're ovulating. When it reaches the clear, slippery, egg-white stage, that's the best time to try.
I use an app called my calendar. I'm not sure how accurate it it, but it says 2-5 days frame after my period is medium chances, 6th is high and 7th is medium.
I don't have a child 🙃
Read “Taking Charge is Your Fertility” and most importantly, purchase some ovulation text strips! They will tell you when your body is about it ovulate- generally, you ovulate about 12-36 hours after the strip turns positive. Everyone and every cycle is different, and the apps that don’t use your personal information are a waste of time (in my opinion). For example...I usually ovulate on cycle day 15, but for some reason, it’s cycle day 17 and I think my ovulation test strip will turn positive tonight or tomorrow. This might all seem complicated at first, but it gets easier. Again, though- if you are serious about having a child, merely relying on an app and not using ovulation predictor strips might delay you. Also- there is an app that works with the test strips called “Premom” and I recommend that for keeping track of everything, as well as “Fertility Friend” is you start taking your temperature and other fertile signs. Good luck!
Get the ovulation test strips and test your ovulation everyday as instructed, it’ll be much easier than guessing everyday
New mom here; do try just do. I find when people try to time it and plan it, it often doesn’t happen. We definitely weren’t trying and bam it happened lol
We tried to not plan and nothing happened. So we started using the ovulation strips and an app to track things, and that did the trick.
I’m in the same boat! And everyone says to not overthink it but as an already anxious person, I just can’t not think about it. I’m using the Ava app without the watch to track the most fertile days. We’ve been trying for about 8 months now so I’m going to see my OB next month to check on things. Good luck!
Hopefully the OB can point you in the right direction! ❤️
Start taking ovulation tests, if you have a regular 28-day cycle, it’s likely you will get a positive ovulation test around cycle day 12 or 13 and ovulate within 24-36 hours after you have the positive test. And you should start doing the deed around CD 10, and at least do it every other day until one day after you O. Hope it helps!!
I used the Clearblue Easy ovulation tests. I actually ovulated a little earlier than I thought, so the tests were helpful and worked for me.
If you do it every other day between days 10 and 20 of your cycle (if you have the “typical” 28 day cycle) you will likely hit the window you need. Good luck!
Ovulation sticks for sure.
Try as much as you can, but be patient . I hope you get results soon, but keep in mind that it’s not just a matter of will, many things need to align.
In my case I was trying for 4 months and I have to confess that every period came with disappointment and worries. That is why I’m telling you, try no to overthink it. Best of luck!!
Yes, this! Even with everything exactly timed right the average couple will only have a 20% chance of conceiving each cycle. So patience is important (although it’s REALLY hard!)
I use a free app that’s called P Tracker. I love it. It tells you when your next period is when your ovulating (based off your last period) and when your fertile. For me my app says that whole next week I’m fertile but on the 7th day I’m ovulating
My hubby and I just started trying! I’ve been using an app called Flo. I want to wait and see what happens for a few months and then I might consider the ovulation strips others have mentioned above.
I usually used Flo for my period log and kept using it while trying to get pregnant. I did use the strips and I have to day that the app was on point predicting ovulation dates. One thing is that i had been logging in data for years before trying. Thus, if you are a new user i do recommend you to complement with the strips. Good luck!!

You can order a large amount of ovulation strips and pregnancy strips. Highly recommend these
Ali Wong method. Try watching Baby Cobra on Netflix 😂
Thank you all for the tips and pointers. Really appreciate it!! Good luck to all trying 🤗
