Any remote vacancy for KYC Analyst with 7+yoe?
Hi All! I am all set to join Infosys from 10th October as a Senior Consultant and they have given us an option of in person or virtual onboarding. With Wipro and TCS incorporating a hybrid model, is there any news that Infosys may also do the same?
My HR had given an option of permanent wfh during recruitment, can anyone currently working at Infosys shed some light on this please!! Infosys

The Lexus NX is just a RAV4. The engine and transmission are lackluster. The Acura and Audi fail to feel special IMO. I would test drive the X3 and the GLC, and see which you like more out of those 2. Both of their base engines are a 2.0l turbo and have plenty of power. I’m not sure about the GLC but the zf transmission in the bmw is basically perfect. If you get the higher trim with the inline6 engine (bmw) or v6 (MB), they’re genuinely quick. They come with all the tech you need (lane departure assist, blind spot monitoring, 360° cameras, CarPlay), drive well, feel luxurious, look great, and all maintenance is free for 3 years. In addition, newer German cars are much more reliable than in the 2000s and earlier. For BMW, their switch to turbocharged 0.5 liter per cylinder modular engine platform has been phenomenal, with lots of power and much more reliable engines. My 2016 5 series has needed just routine maintenance till now. So you can just lease, but buying wouldn’t be a bad idea either. BMW’s best engines are always their inline 6s, so I would suggest springing for the X3 M40i, but the base X3’s 4 cylinder is still great. There’s a few good options you haven’t mentioned that you might want to consider. The Porsche Macan is a great suv if you can stretch your budget a little. The Genesis gv70 is also a very solid choice, and has one of the best interiors for the price. Im a huge fan of where genesis is heading. Feel free to dm if needed

Did you test the AWD X-Line or something lower? Bc almost all of the reviews rate the 2WD options as a pretty bad ride (tire spin on accel, handling, etc.).
Model Y
Loving my Genesis GV80 and you can’t beat the warranty

Have you considered the Genesis GV70? It has a gorgeous interior. I just bought a fully loaded 2022 Mini Cooper Countryman JCW All4 with the Iconic trim (paid $56K including tax). Was the most fun to drive of all the small SUVs I test drove. Also seriously considered the Polestar2 but will wait a few years for steady state batteries to come out. Volvo XC40 is also nice.
There is a small company called Tesla, they are making some good cars, too.
get a model y! Tesla is a great balance of reliability and luxury while saving the planet, consider getting the dual motor for long range around 40-50k, you do not need FSD and all the bells and whistles
True I was thinking before the used market blew up
Are there still discounts that are available for certain car brands? Maybe that will influence decision here as well? I thought at one point we had a discount or car buying program with Audi or BMW…does anyone know if that is still in existence???

If it’s lease you’re not buying it lol
In this segment, if you like driving - BMW X3 - lease n next choice is GLC
We own a Q5 and X5 and hands down the Audi is better.

I test drove an X5 and Q5 and was kind of underwhelmed. I ended up with an Volvo XC60 and I love it. The XC40 was also really nice too but I wanted more cargo space.
Go with a Tesla Model Y LR
Toyota 4Runner - cash
I really don't understand the argument that buying is better than leasing. Seriously. Someone please give the best explanation here. Especially when cars depreciate like nothing else are are pretty much expenses and not assets. (Also; this year is an anomaly due to shortages of chips and parts. Generally, prices are by far lesser over time.)

You would definitely not only pay 10k in this scenario because the company would never not make a profit.
I bought my first car this year and got the Audi Q3. Absolutely love it, would recommend to anyone
Volvo XC 60
Model X - had mine for 9 months and still loving it. Never have to stop at a gas station, no maintenance required, regular software updates, all the power you need, and best of all you never have to talk to a dealership (salesman or finance department).
Though not sure I’m a fan of the newer yoke style steering wheel.
I don’t - I bought mine before they made that change. I feel the same way. My comment was directed at OP since that’s what you get if you buy now.

2022 Mini Countryman JCW
Range Rover Velar. Check that out too!! Sporty SUV
Model Y Tesla
Would highly recommend a Porsche Macan S, as well
I have the 2020 Range Rover Evoque and it’s great. Good engine, gorgeous car, great tech, and very luxurious cabin with ample rear seat space.
It’s not the most fuel efficient small/ mid-size model out there, but I can do NYC to Southampton round trip on 3/4 tank (~$50 to fill with premium).

I love range rovers but the reliability concerns scare me! 😫
