Planning to give my 2 week notice Monday morning. I emailed my onboarding specialist at D this morning to confirm June 1st start date but she didn’t reply yet. She mentioned before 2 weeks that 1 week prior I will receive email for laptop and on boarding process. Is it safe to put the notice if I don’t hear from her by Monday afternoon?.

I am tasked with tackling the issue of Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) at my org. I had managers complete a census to identify individuals who are SPOFs but I am struggling with next part. I think I want to have them prioritize which to focus training on, and find a way to quantify how many hours approx needed for training. Anyone have a good strategies or resources that can help me in designing my program? I should add this is in the tech field.

So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

Found out the job I am in the final round for has come down to myself (3 yoe) and another person with 15 yoe … it’s an associate PM role. Not sure why someone with 15 years of experience would want this job and I kind of thought it would work in my favor since these roles usually aren’t for seasoned consultants however when I asked my recruiter if there was any critical feedback the interviewer gave from our interview she said the only thing was that I have less experience (cont)…

I need some advice my friends. I interviewed last year for M1 at a big four but ended up coming in as S3 with the expectation to be promoted to M1 within 6-12 months per the interview. Now they are saying target promotion is now end of 2022 (would make it 18 months). Are they just dragging me along since we are short seniors? I’ve now been in public for 6 years now. I was in the “met expectations” group for performance. Is it time for me to go into private? Will my raise be anything exciting?

I’ve been thinking of making a switch from audit to TAS. I’m currently a S1 (2 busy seasons experience), and rated as a top performer at my firm. I’m contacted by Kroll, but recruiters there told me that since I haven’t got any TAS experience, I should be applying for their Analyst role instead of Senior Associate.
