Black. It’s the last remaining vestige from my punk rock days. Everything else is I wear is super conservative.

I’m a fan of light pinks, nudes, and more neutral colors. However, I will occasionally rock a deep red, and for trials I usually go with a French manicure.

I've started loving grays - it's a great neutral while still being a little unique, and the lighter shades don't show growth much.

I looovveee grays! You can add a little splash of color but not be loud...

Lol...nothing? I literally only cut my nails when they get long. I rock climb and if I paint them they get chipped the second I climb. Not worth it lol.

I tend to go for neutral colors to not draw attention. I have brown/tan skin so I go for a light beige or fair pink. Otherwise, I might go for a dark, maroon. Just depends on what work interactions I’ll be having, but that’s me. I work in big law and I will note that I’ve seen all sorts of nail colors and it’s really great to see people letting their personalities show.

I teach and I love bright colors. The more obnoxious, the better. 💅🏼

I love OPI Bubble Bath Gel. It’s a clear/pink shade.

I lean towards light pink (“professional pink” as I like to call it) gel manicures. Part of the reason is because I hate the obvious grow out with non-neutral colors. If my calendar is clear for a couple weeks, I might do something more fun, like a bright pink, navy, or dark red. As someone else mentioned, I love a brighter, more fun color on the toes.

Whatever I am in the mood for depending if I don’t have major appearances. I used to have acrylic. But now I keep them short, whatever color I’m in the mood for. I do stay away from neon colors like yellow, green, and blue. However in COVID I just paint my own nails until there is a vaccine or some big drop in Nos.

I started doing glue on nails (I use static nails) and I’m obsessed. I love the look of having a manicure but HATE sitting at the salon. I get their short nails, they usually last me ~10 days and are reusable (but even if you don’t reuse them—$14 for 10 days is way cheaper than getting them done!)

Just ordered my first set of static nails! I’m excited to give them a try since I like the look of polished nails but can’t go to the salon.

I do gel, and keep my nails short (for personal preference more than professionalism, though I do think really long nails are distracting professionally). Stick mainly to neutrals but would do a lavender or other brighter color in summer and wouldn’t worry about it for a typical court appearance. For trial I’ll stick to neutral.

Nexgen french. Since Covid they are natural. Started calculating how much I was spending on manicures and pedicures per annum and have now decided to take another week long vacation each year.

Short & neutral. French, beige, light pink, or cream. Matte black in October because I’m spooky.

I do woodworking as a hobby, so I just try to avoid having sawdust under my nails 😂 Woodworking keeps me sane, so I figure my chipped nails is a small price to pay for mental health.

I needed a hobby that got me outside in the fresh air. And, at the time, I also wanted a bunch of furniture but didn’t want to lay out a ton of money. So I started looking at DIY woodworking websites and discovered it wasn’t that hard. Started out with a couple basic tools, and am gradually expanding. I had always thought of myself as “not handy,” but turns out I love it! And you can make some pretty nice furniture with inexpensive off-the-shelf lumber, fairly basic tools, and the right stain/finish. It’s a great activity, and when you’re done you have your mental health and some awesome furniture!

Sparkles, sparkles everywhere! Bright in summer and darker in winter. If I have a big court appearance might tone it down but nothing can keep me from my brights/sparkles. 🌈

I came for my MBA to the US in 2010. Had zero worries about my future because MBA was sure shot to my American dream of settling in the USA. Didnt even check the weather, was just glad that the school ranked in top 30. Just saw the average salary and thought I can get that too, and almost did. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Wasn't scared to drive anywhere in the country, even had drinks in local bars in tomahawk,wi. Don't even recognise this country anymore. Online mba, f that!!!
