Hi, I recently came across Scaler's MS program, which offers masters degree in collaboration with Woolf University (European University). And, I am looking move to Canada in near future. Will the master degree offered through this course will be accepted by the education evaluation institute WES? If yes, is it considered as equivalent to Canadian Masters degree? Sorry to hear. With all this experience and certifications, why were you laid off?
Going back to school is probably the best option at this time. It’s really tough to get a new company to sponsor unless one really really stands out.
Have a friend in relatively the same situation. He ultimately went for an M.S. in Finance to stay in country. Is there an advanced business or tech degree you want to pursue?
Yes, there are options out there, but since I just graduated undergrad a year ago money is not as readily available as I would like it to be (I know scholarships/grants are always an option too)
They said due to COVID. I joined in July 2019, had some trouble getting staffed as market was slow, perhaps combination of low-util + visa (seems to be a pattern with lay offs) - don't know though
Hope u are open to some advice. Please ups kill while you have the time. With these skills, you will struggle to find something even in India ...if u were aligned to analytics in D, sql , visualization doesn’t cut it anymore in this industry.
What was ur level and were u aligned to strategy ?

Regardless of when your OPT expires you won’t have an H1b starting so I’d suggest you either look for opportunity in another country or another educational degree.
H1B lottery for visa starting in 2020 has been done months ago and if you didn’t go through with Deloitte you won’t have an H1B this year. Even if you got through the lottery, the new employer would have to redo the whole file and pay the immigration fees. No company would do so in such tiny lead time and regardless of that the EO would probably prevent you from obtaining a new visa.
That's a good point, but if my STEM OPT application does get approved (which as I mentioned is being currently processed and contingent on employment) then I get 2 years of work authorization without having to apply for H1B if I choose not to.
What city are you looking in? And YOE?
