Please help, it was my first interview (TCS )so i asked for 70% hike, the HR told she can only give 50 and i agreed. They release the OL with 8 LPA. After that i got one more offer of 11.5 LPA, but the work profile is not what i want (Crystal Report Developer) whereas TCS is giving .Net Developer. So by any means, can i call TCS HR later near joining time and ask for compensation revision or they will not entertain me ?

Advice: About to resign for an offer too good to refuse, I want to give 2 weeks notice, but from seeing others leave it’s a same-day policy as often the case in any sales role. I worry the company won’t pay my long overdue commission (1 of a few reasons why I’m leaving) if I give 2 weeks, don’t want to burn a bridge with my boss as a good reference if I wait for said commission. I also don’t want to weigh the scenario if they counter. WWYD?

Since about the age of 4 or 5 I’ve dreamed of being a business owner/entrepreneur. I’m sales minded, think pig picture vs detailed and I’m a people person. I often lose sight that staying long term and making partner would get me to that goal I’ve had my whole life. Any tips on how to stay motivated? Is my thinking in line? Any advice?
