Hi all, I am a Customer Relationship Manager in the medical device industry. What is the next level up title ? Or What is another role I can transfer into laterally?
Looking to map out my future career path. Any ideas would help!
I like the idea of a side gig. Something to do outside my house where I already have a full time WFH marketing job. But what to do? IE. I like baking but I don’t want to do it professionally. I like coffee but I don’t want to open a cafè.
Long story short: last year in Nov 2020 I accept an offer for concentrix but unable to join due to COVID situation and got approval from the reporting manager it was only for a week.
Now recently I got offer for concentrix pune but they are asking to continue with last package which is below the baseline for this process.
When I spoke to the HR he says it's the policy and nothing can be done.
I loved the process but it would be really hard for me with the package.
ANY ADVICE WHAT CAN BE DONE
I’m looking for feedback on performance reviews. I am not a fan of traditional performance reviews, often associated with annual goals and a rating.
But what does performance management look like without ratings? And how do you pay for performance without the traditional score to tie to the comp increase? I would love to hear about your PM processes and trending practices!
Can anyone share the TC range for a VP fund accounting / portfolio accounting in DFW area? 8 YOE including both public accounting and industry. Thanks.
Have been slow since the Summer (100-120 hour months). Work is starting to pick up, but I have no motivation to do the work anymore. Anyone else have this problem? How did you rebound? I have a mountain of work building and still only bill like 6-7 hours because I get exhausted after that.
Has anyone taken the sphr exam?
What is Level 8 at IBM. Is it comparable to Manager in Deloitte and EY? Please give your views.
It's over a month I had applied for a job post at career portal of accenture and still it is showing your application is under evaluation. My job CID no is C7183481. And now I am unable apply for other job openings too. Can anyone help me to apply for job post also and to know about the status of this applied position.

Need advice for one of my friend.
He is currently in a teaching field and wants to move to IT industry. He completed his B.tech around 7-8 years back.
Any realistic chance if he can move in IT?
He is currently preparing for Scrum Master certification.

This may be a dumb question lol...
But, here goes:
So I am a TA, filling 20-30 call center roles per month, on top of taking over some HR responsibilities until we fill our HR Manager roll..so I stay pretty busy, working 40-50 hours per week.
I was wondering...What do TA's do when they don't have any open positions to hire for? Does this happen? Is this a thing?
I’ve currently been in a recruiter position for first time for almost 5 months now. I feel as though I’m ready to leave because the pay is bad and there’s no commission offered. How long should I stay in this position and what should my asking pay rate be as I search for new roles?
I am a fairly new Director in the recruiting space and was tasked with figuring out how many roles our recruiters can manage at a given time or: what is their req load). I’m not sure where to start with this as we do not have historical data to help drive this decision.
I’m looking for some insight from others and maybe even some market research/resources I can use? Thanks all!
Advice for getting past burn-out.
I’ve been a recruiter for 20 yrs, but am still young. First 10 yrs were Corporate TA; most recent 10 are with Agency. For the majority of my career, I’ve been passionate about my job. I navigated the highs and lows and was always enthusiastic about starting each workday. We recently had leadership changes that affect me negatively…. But my job is still intact. However, I have lost my mojo. Reviewing Recruiter job postings does nothing to inspire me.
Has anyone used fishbowl to source candidates? Is there much functionality here for that?
So....has anyone started at a start-up in your first management role? They have $100M+ in series a funding and they sound legit, but I’m nervous.
I’d essentially have someone running the group WITH me as we grow, but he doesn’t have that much more experience than I do.
My boss has actually told me if I found what sounded like a good opportunity...and then I found out it was desirable than I originally thought, could come back, but that would be more than awkward. Thoughts?
Currently looking for Tech consulting/ Implementation consultant/ privacy roles in London. I have both CIPP/E and CIPM.
Please let me know if you know any roles that are available? Or any recruitment agencies you can refer me to
Hi Campus Recruiters in Canada! Kindly drop a comment here, would love to connect. I am a Computer Science Graduate student graduating next year in April. I have two years of experience in Technology Consulting.
Thanks and Regards
Is industry/corporate recruiting so much more boring than agency? I feel like almost everyone transitions at one point and I am only 2 years into recruitment and presented with a few opportunities to transition into internal recruiting but I don’t want to make the wrong decision
Has anyone started a recruiting side hustle apart from your full time role? If so, was it hard to navigate the contract you have with your current company (non-compete, etc)? And how did you decide on rates to charge?
When considering taking a contract opportunity- what are things to look for and consider? Has anyone created or utilized a template/calculator to support taxes and figuring out actual take home pay?
It took me a whole day to write a cover letter selling my skills (career changing) just to apply for a job that didn’t have an option to upload a cover letter or additional files 🥲💔 wasted my time for nothing lol. Just wanted to vent
I just got my first recruiter position at a large consulting firm. I believe it will be full cycle position and I’d love to have any advice that you wish you knew when you started in recruiting!
My husband is looking to get into tech … what are some good areas of study to search out? Important factors after course completion: salary, WLB, entry level opportunities
Need some advice/guidance. I’m currently with a F500 company, on a great team with decent benefits, A+ WLB, but my entire 8 yrs of recruiting has been retail/hourly roles, and recently have been wanting to expand my arsenal & get into tech/engineering. I currently make a comp of about 90k. Amazon recruiter reached out & they accepted my 150k comp expect & I’m now at the “on-site” interview portion. Recruiting is for engineering or IT roles. Is the Amazon WLB really that bad? It’s a big increase.
I've been working for 6 months as a recruiting temp. My original contract was dec-march. Then we mutually extended it when I had another offer for March. They then offered me full-time but I was interested in another role in another department. They agreed and I'm going to be working the 'temp to hire' role in the new department.
Am I allowed to ask for a new hourly rate for this 'new' role? I took the original rate due to covid necessity but would have asked for more if it was temp-to-hire.
Currently recruiting for a trucking company. I have been told a few times that my experience there for the last year isn't what companies want to hire for a professional recruiter...
How can I better market myself and show that I can learn regardless of who I am currently recruiting???
Ok talent nerds, how are those quarterly headcount deadlines coming along and how many times have you practiced telling your stakeholders some of them might have to be pushed back?
