To me that meant the will not meet my requirement.
I did get a job offer from them.... 8K less than what I asked for.

I have an interview for a LTC/Rehab Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist position next week. My base salary is $40/hour as a charge nurse. With overtime I’ll be finishing the year about $15000 above my base pay. I have questions: first, I know I’ll be putting in at least the same number of hours I’m current working (50+/wk). I had put in my papers a week back but my project is shutting down and my supervisors have said to look for a job to everyone.
How do I tell the new company that I will be able to join earlier in a way that my offer is not impacted?
Also, is it wrong if I have a month (or more) long gap between last working date and joining date?
