What options are there for a midlevel litigation associate to leave biglaw life? I live in a HCOL area, so pay is a consideration. But I know litigators are more limited in things like in-house exit opportunities.

I have a CD title but swing between imposter syndrome and bitterness that I am underpaid/undervalued and want to hear from others if I would ever be taken seriously elsewhere. I make 108k/NYC at a non-agency “media company”. I have no prior relevant experience for this role, I just sort of fell into it. How long does it usually take to get a decision from a hiring manager? I went through 3 rounds of interviews for an ACD role: individual team member calls, hiring manager call, and was brought in to their office to meet the entire team.

This was 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Followed up via email last week and was told “we haven’t heard anything yet.”

The offer from EY India is very less and my joining is on 16th. I do not think negotiation will work at this point. Synechron & Altimetrik is offering far better pay than EY India. The difference is Close to 5L. Can anybody through some light here. I have a YOE of 4Y and tech stack- Java/MS/ React. EY is offering 10.5 fixed.
