I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

I’m 23 weeks and just got it over the weekend!!
I felt fine after getting it and was also worried about omicron..
I got mine at 31/32 weeks pregnant, which was 2-3 weeks ago. I didn’t mix and match. I had a tad bit more of a reaction than I’d had with the OG. The lymph node in my shot arm was swollen for 2 days, my lower back hurt terribly which kept me from sleeping the first night.
I felt pretty good 48 hours later and completely fine the day following that. Baby seems totally fine.
I do suggest clearing your schedule and taking it easy the next day just in case.
Got my booster a week before delivery (39w) hoping to continue to pass antibodies to baby…
My wife got her firsf shot at 10 weeks, second around 16 weeks, and the booster literally the day prior to her due date.
We went for her 40th week check-up and her ob-gyn who always errs on the side of caution and prevention told her you are better off taking the booster than not. Can't be more grateful for that recommendation with omicron spreading and hopefully our daughter getting the antibodies through her breast milk.
I got mine earlier at 7 weeks since the doctor said that earlier was better.
Got my booster at 34 weeks with the same vaccine. My side effects were so much better than the second shot.
Thanks all! I’m 23 weeks now and somewhat worried it is too soon but Omicron has me nervous
My doctor told me the only slight concern they have is if you spike a very high fever in the first trimester because that can impede cell division for the baby. But spiking a very high fever like that is rare with the vaccine and likely worse with COVID.
Also, the doctor recommended getting it with enough time for the baby to get the antibodies. It takes several weeks for your body to produce the antibodies after the shot. Yes, the baby will get some via breast milk but not as many as it will get via your blood stream.
She also reminded me that as a pregnant woman, my immune system is suppressed, so the shot is a help to me, too.
I wasn’t eligible for the booster until 26ish weeks. And I still waited a couple weeks JUST IN CASE something happened to the baby (which I made up because I found no evidence of pre term labor or fetal risk), and I thought it was better to wait until it was farther along. But that was prior to the explosion of omicron.
I’m torn. I had Covid 8.5 weeks ago at week 12. My family abs hubs are telling me NOT to get booster because of my natural immunity, and some studies around the booster. Doc says get it.
My wife got it when she was at week 12 based on doctors request. Moderna. No side effects this time.
Got mine at 21 weeks, mixed Moderna booster with Pfizer series. No side effects!
28 weeks at the strong rec of my midwife. Side effect, sore arm, was milder than the first two doses.
