Given item goes on varying % discount at different frequencies in a year and client receives varying funding depth from vendor to support the % discount, what is the average funding $ across the year?

For example, item cost $10, price $15. It goes to 50% disc 4 wks/yr with funding $2.50; 25% disc 8 wks/yr with funding of $1.50. What should the avg funding $ across the year? It needs to consider greater sales at deeper disc lvl

I have this weird anxiety/phobia of people getting close to my eyes/face.
