Hey y’all. I went through an exceptionally traumatizing experience a few years ago that has totally & utterly shattered my confidence, self worth, self esteem etc. I have a hard time portraying my work experience + deserving of a new role.

For context, I did well in uni, got into law school but due to finances + the experience in question I didn’t end up going. Kept working in the public sector as a coordinator & now got my scrum master certificate to transfer to SM role in finance/ tech. Help

Do QA people face late night calls frequently? As it will disturb wlb in this case due to hard dependency on people working in US schedule. @mastercard @citi

I was scooting around some podcasts and found a podcast addressing “ageism” in hiring! Im just wondering is this a thing? In the podcast the author stated some hiring managers won’t hire under 25 or over 60. Thoughts on this.

Anyone who has had two remote jobs. How did you go about it? I will of course ensure there’s no conflict of interest. But practically did you update your linked in? Just not say anything to either or the companies? Ideally I’d like a contract position where I can work outside of business hours for a side gig but it seems easier to just find another ft job.

Hey friends happy Friday. If So far I have done everything but dev within the software product cycle; and I now want to enter the area of PM. With 22 yrs in the industry - how do I best position my never been a PM before? AND I feel I have been at the other end of the role’s dependencies - so I feel a PM role would bring all of my experience together. Im here to say it. I’ve been through the google interview for a pm role. Got hired and guess what? Half the people there are not creative or talented. It’s a corporate lie haha. They act like they want you to example some kind of product sense genius in the interview but when you work there they want you to just be a worker bee with no ideas

Comp question: I’ve started recruiting for a few PE portco ops. It’s early in the process and one of the recruiters asked me about my expected comp. 1. Does anyone know what’s a reasonable reply? Hi folks. I am paying for the EY health insurance policy covering me and my parents. I also have an individual health policy for me. However, the premium amount above 25k (the additional 50k eligible for senior citizens) is not being considered for tax deduction by the company. Shouldn't the total eligibility be 25k + 50k?

Any inputs about this would be quite helpful.

i have been interviewed in EY GDS, post that i didnt got call from HR, they just have sent me multiple mails to upload profile in their system and asked me to send some documents like adhar, signed form etc.
Its been two weeks now havent heard back anything from HR, written multiple mails but no response.
I was employee referal n he was saying my current status is BG in progress but i dnt get any call from HR to confirm my selection

How are feedbacks from different quarterly cycles decide year end ratings?

Or is it simply that Counsellors and SM's sit and decide on ratings and hikes for the counselees??
