Hello , I have accepted an offer from a UK firm , they mentioned that they will provide coc form to me and then I have to apply for a visa (they will reimburse the visa cost)
Is this a norm there ?
Do you guys have any experience with applying for a visa ?

How long does it normally take to get an offer after a final interview?

I did an initial interview with a firm Thursday morning. They asked for references and I provided them the following day along with my thank you note. In past experiences, I would have heard something by now unless they were not interested at all. Am I wrong to just write this one off?

I interviewed with Citi 3 weeks ago (London) and haven’t heard back since. I felt the interview went well. Interviewer told me that I will hear back in a couple of weeks as the entire floor is hiring at the moment and HR is swamped. She said it in such a positive tone/way as well. Currently making $250K all-in as a Finance Director but only got 3% increase this past review. My pay was down 5% due to COVID last year, so from 2020 to 2022 my pay is flat. Should I start looking to move? I don't have any complaints with the work I have and $250K jobs don't grow on trees, but it's hard to swallow essentially no pay increases over 2 years in a high interest rate environment
