Hi I just received a verbal offer for a non-tech position and I’m awaiting the comp package. I know from previous posts that Amazon packages are mainly equity based but do they ever not meet the base salary requirements you specified? & “make up” for it by offering you higher RSU’s?

Currently in finance ops group at a PE shop in Canada. In late stages of interview process w GS in NYC for similar role but at the Associate level. All indications point to an offer being imminent but I have concerns with 1) title (junior VP’s in the group have +1/-1 YOE than me, 2) base feels a bit light given I have 9+ YOE (job description says top end is US$160K)…Nervous for a change as current role is very comfy but nothing ever grows in comfort zones. Is anyone familiar with payroll taxes on commission checks? My company pays salary bi-weekly and commission monthly through Rippling. Our commission checks were taxed at a really low rate last year due to separate commission/salary payruns. Now, commission employees are all facing huge tax bills. I know we still owe that money, but is this anyone's fault? It feels like someone screwed up, but since we still owe money, it's hard to know if there is any cause for retribution.

Hi fishes. I have an offer with epam with 16.8 lpa and I asked for salary revise with counter offer. HR said he will get back to me after contacting hiring manager and then after 2 days he said that they couldn’t revise salary as that was the max they can provide for that band.
