I think it depends on what you’re looking for right now. If you’re looking for stability and possibly a more relaxed life then big company. Startup you’ll likely be grinding and we also know that VC raising is going to be hard for the foreseeable future so some instability. Although even big companies are laying off so it just depends on what that company is. I think careers happen in seasons. Some seasons are for intense work for the sake of learning. Some seasons are recuperation rest and vest. And everything in between. Depends on what season you’re in
If money isn’t a big deal breaker for you and you think working for a growth startup would be fun and it will enhance your skills, go for it. Bigger brand name but low job satisfaction leads to disappointment after a point. Just a personal opinion.
Assuming comp is around 180-190 base (plus bonus but have not discussed), fully remote.
