Mine has varied based on what part of a project I’m in. I’m currently at like 35 because we’re in a lull and I’m okay with folks taking it a bit easier near the holidays. During full speed I’ve worked 50/60 but only when I voluntarily want to work that much. There have only been a few times I’ve been forced to work that much.
I’m envious. I think mine will ramp up to 60 in the new year as we’ve got to hit a bunch of objectives in q1
45-50 for me...but I will say this will probably vary wildly by company based on culture and what a PM is asked to do.
50 at the moment. My manager works 60+ judging by the messages I get close to midnight. It worries me
45-50
I start my day earlier than most but I also end by 6. Works out to about 50 hours per week. I would say some times it's more intense than others, but I fit into the same amount of hours.
I work at FAANG and it's around 45-55
55-65 hours per week. I run my own PM consulting business though + plus I have a side project I am nurturing to life.
Typically 50 hours. 60+ when we’re moving a lot of GTM
Probably 45-60 given the things that are going on each week.
Depending on project size and implementation support volume...typically 50 hours a week average
60, including prep time for the week on Sunday afternoons
Average at 60hrs. Mainly 12 hour days, from 6am-6pm with a working lunch.
Based on the responses , it seems that the wlb isnt that sweet. I guess other factors come into play such as if you're interested in the work , pay etc. Am I correct ?
PM1 makes sense , thank you. And yeah every other person wants to be a PM these days 🤦♂️
I've flexed from 30-72 depending on state of product and related projects
