Oprg has supposedly said they are not merging any of their big 3 PR agencies in the US.
But wasn’t that when KVB was at OPRG?
They don’t need so many brands. Especially ones that compete or struggle to compete externally. Take the painful step of merging it all into two global networks, invest in the right leader, people and culture and come out the other side 12 months later a better business. Anything less is the holding company and current leaders avoiding responsibility and protecting their jobs.
PN is barely a global network as is. It’s only ex-US owned offices are Mexico, London and Dublin. And with their shift to being a purpose consultancy, Omnicom will effectively only be left with two global networks.
When I was at Ketchum, we took over the PN work they couldn’t handle. What are some big names PN works with?
In terms of brands: J&J, Bayer, Ben & Jerry's, CVS, Keurig DrPepper, John Hancock, FICO, Chico's/Soma/WHBM, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Equinix, T Mobile, a bunch of healthcare and biotech companies and tech companies I don't know as much about. Also works with govt and NGO types like the CDC.
