Would love to see a story on how much Activision CEO Bobby Kotick, 59,has made since he and partners bought Activision out of bankruptcy in 1991 for $400k. He now owns 0.53% so at $95 a share that Microsoft is paying, that alone is $400 mil. But in 2020 alone his pay package was valued at 154 million (some of this is overlapping in his stake)!! Would be fun media story to add up his 1991-2022 comp to the $400 mil to see his total return from what was a fraction of $400k investment 30 years ago.

I have been offered a Senior Consultant role in Capgemini Netherlands, the salary is around €55k. Provided I am an Indian National with 30% ruling, is there a room for negotiating more? Imo it seems a bit less i was planning something around 70k. Please let me know your thoughts!

They hired a new attorney to fill my position with slightly more experience. Two days before I returned to work, I found out she became my manager. She took my raise and promotion and now I report to her. I’ve worked there for 1 year and within 12 wks she was promoted. I feel punished for having a baby. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?

I started in big law M&A 8 months ago and I’m super miserable. I don’t love the work or the stress/anxiety that comes with deal work. I also feel like I’m not picking up on it as fast as my peers/able to juggle as many deals at once as the firm would like. I’m thinking about making a switch to in house work, preferably commercial contact work. Seems like the hours and stress would be more manageable in that type of role. Any advice or insight?
