Poke holes in my account allocation/suggest what you would do differently.

Currently I don't have access to HSA. Age 29, income $105k.

Roth retirement assets: $90k
Pretax retirement assets: $104k
Brokerage: $21k
House Equity (primary): $100k
HSA from old employer: $4k
Savings/checkings: $19k
ibonds: $12k

I am not handy in the slightest and turnkey properties for the most part don't make sense in terms of ROI vs alternatives. No debt outside of $128k mortgage.

It seems fine. I am not sure what kind of suggestions you are looking for

Mix seems good to me. If you've considered Roth conversion recently it could be a good time since you'll be pulling at lower prices and go forward growth in the Roth could be more attractive. Given the long investment horizon on your retirement assets weight more risk/higher return in the Roth to take advantage of the tax free growth (hopefully). Not suggesting a shift in your current level of risk since I don't know what it is, just that point in terms of distribution of existing risk/return.

Your investment accounts could hold any of a zillion things, so more details on your asset allocation would give us something to poke holes in.

100% invested in those accounts. Brokerage is individual stocks for the most part (former equity analyst). Retirement accounts 60%-40% split (us vs ex-us with focus on keeping etf expenses low). My bond exposure is minimal LSD, mostly just equities.

Looks like you have enough emergency savings, so maximize contributions to every tax advantaged (401k, Roth IRA, HSA) account you have.

I live in the UK, can someone please explain to me how OP has so much money despite being on $100k a year?
We don't have all of these contribution Roth IRA etc accounts, and I feel like we're getting nothing even remotely close to what you guys seen to earn?

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

Hello Fishes

I had recently posted here about getting a job offer abroad(UK). Now I need your help to make a decision about the same. Just wanted to know if it makes an impact on your CV if it has a stint outside of India? The current offer I have is one level lower than my designation in India and pay wise also its decent enough but nothing extraordinary. Just wanted to know if it will help in future if I was to go now and return in 2-3 years time?

If I’m right on the cusp of hitting the contribution reductions for a Roth IRA for 2021 (will potentially have a greater than $125k AGI depending on bonus amount, but likely won’t exceed $130k), what should I do? I can fully find the $6k right now to a Roth, fund like $5k and then wait until June when I find out my bonus amount to decide what to do with the rest, or should I just do an IRA->Roth conversion just to be safe?
