Bain & Company What is the likelihood of making SAC in September 2022 if I join as an AC on April 18th at Bain & Company? I am a senior consultant at EY with 3.5 years of experience in Data Analytics. Or is March 2023 more realistic? They told me 6 months for promotion but it seems like the two promotion cycles with my different start dates give me 4 or 9 months of experience, nothing in between. I’ll be joining in the private equity group which will be new for me.
Fishes, need your honest advise - I have 40 days left with Notice period and no job in hand due only 4-5 months of relevant experience and total yoe- 3.10 years. Is there any chance I will get the job in next 40 days due to immediate joiner? Or give me referral please

I mean, he has a point. Why should we worry about Russia’s special operation to liberate Ukraine - a proud country that has never accused me of being racist btw - when millions of MS-13 and Antifa are slipping through the southern border every day?

They all have covered it. Not particularly extensively but there isn't an absence at all. The fact is everyone who reads any news knows about it.
This.

I like OP: “there has been no coverage. Please have an objective debate as to why”. Several people post links to actual articles. OP: “you’re just posting links and have to search for them! Bah ahaha that’s pathetic”. I like your objective debate, OP.
You’re just going to assume that your premise that there has been an absence of coverage is valid and we go from there?
😂
The fact that Fox News can’t stop taking about it is not because of their journalistic integrity, it’s evidence of the opposite.

OP - not looking to bash you. But can you please explain why you thought there has been an absence of coverage of this on CNN/NYT etc?
Stilllll waiting OP 🕰

I literally woke up to the Today Show covering it, turned to CNN mid-morning, covering it, opened my NYT daily briefing covering it, opened my news apps covering it...
Poll: Did Fox News’ absence of coverage about the many allegations of sexual assault and harassment against Trump change your opinion of them?

This is a Trump tactic. Only Faux seems he'll bent on keeping this controversy alive.

Google News has been trending a lot with enough coverage by MSM on Biden. I do not think there has been any absence of coverage. What is your complaint?
If Biden had said that she was so ugly to be banged as demented Trump said for his accusers, it would have generated lot more coverage. He instead settled it with a clear and concise written statement and in person on Mika's show.
Sorry, it did not achieve the outcome you expected. Also, can you help us understand why are you trying really hard to fan a dying fire.
I think there might be multiple factors that have created this perception:
1) There is obviously a lot going on right now, so while the media does cover it, maybe it’s not getting the same level of headlines.
2) The sheer number of allegations. Any allegation should be taken seriously and investigated. But if multiple people come forward, that leads to more headlines.
3) If we are comparing to coverage of, say, Trump, there is also the factor of how much it’s discussed amongst readers, and can certainly be influenced by who they support politically.
Hahahaha so many links, come on go on their websites and there’s nothing even mentioning it as headlines. The fact you have to use the search feature to find a story is pathetic. @M2 you’re making an assumption that I’m a male.

“The search feature” - you mean google? Lol.
Also, I’m sorry. Let’s replace “he” with “they” - now what?

It has been all over each of those stations and papers.
It has not changed my opinion of the media because my opinion of partisan media was already very low.

As a Republican I’m hoping there’s not too much Tara Reade coverage, because that might force Biden to duck out and be replaced with someone stronger.
No.
Was never going to vote for Biden anyway.
Well being that we’re in a pandemic that has claimed 70K US lives, I wouldn’t say so much that it’s not been covered as it is much that people don’t care about it given the circumstances we are in. People didn’t care about the countless allegations against Trump and he grabbing women by the crotch and people still voted for him. The answer is that simple.

Sad but true. We have demonstrated countless times through many elected officials (Clinton too) that we as a people don’t think it disqualifies someone from leading the country.

It has absolutely been covered and other Democrats have spoken about it too.
