500k+, mid 40s, as little as I can get away with and almost always on sale for $50 or less per article of clothing.
You’re probably right. But I gave up a long time ago on caring much about what I wear. As long as it looks neat it’s good enough for me.

I'll go: 34, 230 TC. Typically <$100 for tops, ~$100 for bottoms. Splurge for nice bags ~1-2k
I'm a guy, but have you tried poshmark.com? All the items are legit and you can negotiate with the seller to get the best prices, so you can find new designer stuff like what's in the store, but often get away with paying 80% off or more for it.
TC $150k 28F - I started becoming more ‘minimalist’ with my wardrobe and when I do buy new clothes (~2 tops and 1 pair of bottoms a year) I’ll spend ~$40 -$120 on tops usually second hand from somewhere like eBay or TRR and ~$120 on pants. And probably ~$1k-$1.5k on 1-2 preloved bags. And ~$100-200 towards shoes (1-2 pairs a year). And another $1k at Sephora every year on makeup and skincare lol
Yes why does sephora take all my $$ 😄

M- TC 750 FW- TC 125
but my frugal wife of a former attorney taught me this hack:
Goodwill and high end thrifts - I spend approx 200 or less on clothes on a monthly basis
- suit - $14
- shirts - $7
- winter coats - $25
I do spend a lot of shoes, belts and other accessories like a watch and bracelet (but this is an annual spend not monthly).
Same for her - she wouldn’t go cheap on shoes and nice handbag but she found some Chanel blazers in these high end thrifts and good will stores in high end neighborhoods
Also:
I purchased dress shirts and slacks from costco - got them tailored to perfection and purchased a monogramming machine and all my shirts to look custom made. As a hobby for DIY, I’m learning how to sew so I can tailor my own clothes
Nifty, I love it!

Not a woman but if you want a male data point I'm 28 making $300k tc. Breakdown of clothing spend:
-$10 t basic t shirts (no logo)
-$30-50 polo shirts when on sale
-$100-$200 for nicer button downs, pants, and other standard clothing items (I have a $125 hoodie that is worth every penny)
-$100-$300 for shoes
-$100-$1000 for jackets
-$1000-$12000 for watches

TC is 100k. I’ll spend between 30-60 on tops, 40-80 on sweaters, 150-300 on coats, up to 120 on denim. But I have a capsule wardrobe so I maybe buy one or two new pieces a season.

28, TC 150. Typically <80 per top, <80 per bottom. I rarely spend on designer’s bags since I travel (for pleasure) too often and live out of two suitcases.
F-300k. Always been cheap. Buy maximum 2 bottoms, 5 tops, 1 office jacket, 1-2 sweaters a year, everything from Marshall’s, Nordstrom rack, outlet stores
$10-40 for tops
$40-60 for bottoms
$100 or less for jacket
$200 or less for sweaters (only cashmere)
Shoes as needed up to $100
No need for handbags, don’t use them very much, have a few $30 or less ones for years now.
Just wanna say I love this. Everyone's making good money but no ones out there spending 500+ to get designer clothing. Y'all smart
300k, male, mid 30s
I like the high tech, super comfy, low maintenance pieces from places like Mizzen and Main, Outlier, Wolf and Shepherd, and Arcteryx. It's a little spendy at retail, so I try to stick to sales and thift sites like Grailed. Shirts, pants, and shoes $50-$150, jackets up to $500ish. Suits are MTM at Indochino (about $400).

I try to keep items under $110 to keep it sales tax free unless they are things like boots/coats where I wear long term.
Isn't this more of a question for Bumble or Tinder?
I dont think we use bumble the same way :)
