Anyone have any experience of PwC Digital? Seem to be hiring aggressively for cloud. What are the benefits/ progression/ opportunities like? What differentiates from other Big 4 tech groups?

Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls

Hi all. For those of you married or in committed relationships out there, I’d like to know: do you and your spouse take on an ‘equal load’ in your home and life generally? Or would you say that your roles are more gender specific in nature? I’ve noticed that a lot of couples around me are very gender specific in their roles/ traditional (for the lack of a better word), and was wondering if that’s true more generally? I thought things had changed more than they seem to have!

Spinoff question... I know FMLA technically only covers you if you've worked for 12 months at your employer but has anyone actually had their employer say "sorry you we only here for 10 months so you can take your two weeks of accrued vacation, after that we'll expect you back." ? Since FMLA is unpaid anyway, I would imagine most employers would at least let you have unpaid time off.

Can I ask to have my travel reimbursed for a client site in my home office city? There is no direct public transportation available to that site (70 min) and I would likely have to uber (15 min).
