And I have been helping run my family business for the past 10 years. I was intially interviewed for a senior account executive position at a $70k offer. Honest opinion - student debt forgiveness is a great start but only a bandaid. And a pretty bad one at that. These loans should never have been needed in the first place. Public university should be affordable with a part time job and federal grants - like it was up until the ‘80s. But states have shirked their responsibility to provide affordable college education to their residents and now we are in a big shi**y mess because of it and everyone wants to call it a handout. Thoughts?
