You can’t go wrong with either but I’m partial to Greece. (Other than Mykonos which has turned into a miserable spot where everyone thinks they are an influencer).

Greece has been subject to forest fires and extreme temperature because of client change. Both countries are amazing but please examine expected temps for certain periodes

Portugal is a good time, especially since it's cheap, but there's not a ton to do in terms of activities outside of sitting on a beach or wandering a city. It's also a pretty poor country, which may be the reason for the lack of developed, upscale areas. Good if you are going to drink, eat decent food, and sit on a beach for cheap.

Greece is awesome because there's so many things to see and do given the mainland and islands. Though, as another poster said, summer's can be brutal due to heat and massive crowds. I'd recommend Santorini over Mykonos any day for a high-end stay in one of the cave style hotels and stay on the property or do water activity day trips (4 days). For other islands, I'd highly highly recommend Folegandros (3 days), which is much more authentic and has great food and activities (atv, boat, hiking, sightseeing, etc). If you want to party, check out Ios as a more relaxed vibe to Mykonos but still has fun beach, pool, outdoor club parties (2 days). Depending on what time of summer, Athens is also a must visit (2 days) and was surprisingly really great despite being a capital city, and has great greek food most Americans would recognize if you want more of that vibe.

Both. Portugal may be cheaper as certain grecian destinations have been hyped up over the last couple of years and tend to be more on the expensive side.

Both are great. Noting advantage Greece for slightly nicer beaches and Portugal for slightly better food but both are still strong on both

I've done both and prefer Portugal. Greece islands are great for the party or the luxury crowds.

Both places will be overpriced and crammed full with people all in search of the same thing during summer season (Jun to Sep). We go pre-season in May or post-season in Sep. — better deals, less people, the water is not full of jellyfish yet, and the weather is hot but not oppressive hot.

Greece

Do you care about ocean water temperature? I’m Portuguese and I’ll say the ocean is always cold. Greece will give you much warmer water.

Portugal has become too popular- it does get really crowded in the summer, at least in the major cities. Food is delicious in both countries, and the history is rich.

Go to Portugal. It’s closer

I am 100% supportive of extending status but not on 12/4 after their “fly to the finish” gimmick. United should have just called it at the same time Delta extended. There will be a lot of really happy people when they see their status extended but it stings having forked over the $$$

Question for consultants in healthcare, what books have you found helpful in your career? I’m starting soon, but I come from a clinical background, and haven’t been exposed to that much beyond that. I’ve found them immensely helpful (I’m still early on, so I learn a lot with each new book). Outside of news sources, what books have you found helpful?
