D1, why would you think you could skip the manager level at any firm? Not being flippant, just curious

Are you up for promotion? Why not get Manager at Deloitte then bounce for lvl6

Op being an SM at Accenture is more about sales and managing multiple teams. Though managing a large team is definitely a big responsibility at your level, I don’t believe it is a strong enough case.

They won't bring you in as an SM/level 6. Have seen a few experienced hires come in (10+ yoe) and do a year as M before a promotion. No idea of that was some official probationary period.

I was managing teams that size as a late consultant. SC at D is still C/L9 at ACN. You could come in as an M1, which you’d need to prep for SM. SM is expected to own account relationships, sell, have multiple clients, etc.

If anyone wants to join a boutique HR & Talent Advisory consulting firm, Kincentric is hiring for an Associate Partner role! Location doesn’t really matter, but preferably in IL, NY, or ATL.
