Possibly weird post but want to see if anyone has been in a similar situation. If I don’t poop every morning I feel bad all day, is there any tips or tricks you have done to stay regular all the time? Foods/drink/supplements? I eat a very healthy and balanced diet already

Lots of water, coffee in the morning, fruits/veggies/fiber and last resort is senna or magnesium citrate supplement at night (will also help you sleep).

Smooth Move tea by Traditional Medicinals works for me! It has senna in it which helps me stay regular. Personally, I don’t recommend taking it daily. The effects work 2-3 days after I have one mug.

I drink some tea it works

Chia seeds

1tbs of Chia seeds works for me and lots of water

Water, fiber, enough fat.

Fermented foods, probiotics.

Magnesium citrate.

If that doesn’t work try something for motility.

Probiotics! They work wonders. And try different types. Olly multivitamin/probiotic combo is one of my favorites.

Celery juice

Prune juice. I used to have this exact problem and now I (grumpily) drink 8oz of prune juice every day and it’s fixed the problem. Worth it.

A handful of soaked prunes daily

I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

What do I do? I called in sick on Monday because of a flu that turned out to be COVID. I am a manager in the logistics department, where I shouldn't come into the office to avoid risking anyone's health. Wish apps like BetterHelp were free. I can’t afford healthcare or therapy (I’m unemployed, and yes, I’ve tried seeking pro bono therapy options — no place anywhere nearby offers it.) I really need a therapist I can talk to on at least a weekly basis to just unpack so much that’s bogging me down to the point of being unable to function some days, but it’s just so cost prohibitive! Any advice? Mulling accepting an orthopedic Ambulatory surgery center position for pre-op/PACU RN… they do fractures, hips/knees, and pain meds procedures. Up to 40 Pt/day. I have no previous Ambulatory/ Med-surg experience
