Definitely talk to your doctor and not a mostly anon board of consultants with little to no medical training

I sleep 9 hours a night normally

Then I think you answered your own question OP 😉

It means that your body is exhausted and needs to recover. There is no specified timeline for this. It just takes time

Talk to doc, probably cant do anything and just tell you to be healthy and wait it out.

I slept 12 hours for a while

I’ve seen such patterns for my close friend, you should be fine

I do this when I’m at full health

I had covid last March it took me 1-2 months to stop being tired all the time.

That’s amazing and my target for weekends. But if you are still feeling tired, then you should check with a doctor.

Not seeing the issue here. Lots of Type B people sleep 10 hours a day and don't run around exhausted and stressed out like the Type A folks. They still live perfectly fulfilling lives, if not more since they are well rested, better health, and not over subscribed all the time. Prioritize your health over everything, always.

Ugh. I went on vacation last week for meeting my boyfriend’s family for the 1st time/his sister’s wedding. I’ve been trying to lose quarantine weight for the past 5 months ahead of this trip (healthier eating, working out 5-6x a day, calorie deficit). I was getting back to my old physique pre covid. But during this trip I just ate everything without thinking twice. Especially when his family would offer food cause I didn’t want to be rude. Now I feel back to square 1. Continued below..

Any female 🐠 have trouble with overeating during their time of the month? Never used to have this problem before but have found that since covid , I crave carbs and sweets more than normal and tend to overeat during my period. I also find myself wanting to eat when I’m bored or to keep me awake during the day. The problem isn’t as bad normally but on my periods, my ability to resist giving in goes down to near impossible. Any suggestions for how to cut cravings/eating non-sensically?

Ignoring COVID for a second and how it'll impact firm's financial capability to even give bonuses, do firms with billable reqs usually still give bonuses to first years even if they don't make the threshold? Maybe like 5% of my first year class will make the threshold (and tbh that number would be around the same of COVID never happened. Just curious as to how most NYC big law deal with this.

Just over 2 years and 1 million people dead from Covid. We’re still grieving! So many of those we lost died alone and scared, w/out family love and contact. This can lend to a more complicated grieving process for family members. Compassion is what’s needed!

First Xmas alone at home with elderly mother after fathers death. Covid sensitive since she’s high risk. what can we do in tri state area (in the car, social distanced, she’s elderly) that won’t make Xmas suck as much? Want her to not feel lonely although rest of family is doing their own thing. Appreciate any ideas. Merry Xmas fish!

NYC Area — anyone know of any virtual volunteer opportunities relevant to education and/or mentoring? Although things are at a standstill, I’d still like to network and learn of ways to invest my extra time. I’m also open to opportunities that will continue post COVID. I’ve checked out Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, and other large organizations, but I know there have to be more out there...
