Post-MBA hidden tech gems? What are so good tech post MBA opportunities outside of FAANG, especially in Europe. Also, what type of roles? I understand Product Management, but what about things like Product Marketing, finance leadership, etc.
I think I’m stuck
5 YOE tech strategy at F100 and just made M, but I don’t think I’m getting good exp anymore. Not sure how to pivot to 1) consulting, biz dev, or PM. Already proven myself to climb to the M level, does this mean I have to get the MBA to come off seriously externally?
Is there anyone who would like to refer me as an assistant management accountant at their company? I am pursuing a CMA qualification, currently completing a higher degree in Management Accounting, and an intern. I am in South Africa, and would like to relocate. Please and thanks.

Seeking some input: I am a client service manager (aka team lead) at a regtech company. I manage a small team of analysts who service the Helpdesk for a product that helps banks/ hedge funds do their regulatory reporting. I've been doing research and l've been seeing salaries ranging from 65k to 130k. I offer an MBA and a year of experience as the client service manager. What would you say is fair compensation for this role and my experience?
Diversity quota is real: both for B-School admissions/scholarships and MBB recruiting.
Readers be warned. Your skills don’t matter as much as you think.
That is all.
Has anyone taken the Experience Cloud cert lately? What were your thoughts? Prepping for the exam now 😅
MBA admit here and have to put down a deposit soon, having serious cold feet right now due to the covid situation and potentially having to start virtually. Would love any perspective on how it's been particularly socially and what your schools' outlook on the fall is
I just saw someone had a Workday People Analytics certification on their Linkedin, is this a new cert and does it require coding?

Hi Applied to PwC Strategy& for a consultant role and havent heard back from a recuiter however, I received an email for a survey asking what am I looking for in the company in terms of their culture, values etc and what other companies I have applied to. Is this a typical process? Not sure if thats the step 1 in the process or I have been rejected. Any feed back is appreciated. I am graduating from Ohio State with an MBA and have 8 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance.
Is there a difference in value between pursuing an MBA at an accredited, but not ivy, and a certification (business analytics or CIA)?
Does one provide more value than the other? I've heard the MBA's shine is dimming and don't want to waste time if a certificate can do the same for me.
What’s best path for an MBA application? Currently at Deloitte, will stay until 1-2 YOE and then exit to one of the following potential paths:
1. Stay at Deloitte until applying
2. Switch to MBB and then apply
3. Switch to FAANG and then apply
4. Switch to a “T2” tech firm and then apply
5. Quit and join/create a startup and then apply

Anyone joining barclays on 7th November?
I'm a new first year associate, almost two weeks in. Have to ask: is it normal to have almost no idea what's going on? I know my teams view me as completely clueless (which is 100% accurate), but whenever I ask for an explanation/they go over something with me, I'm still left feeling like they're speaking a different language. Is it just me? Every time I do a task I get so nervous I'm screwing up big time because it's like I'm stumbling around in the dark. What can I do to improve?
I have an in person hearing scheduled in the cd Cal district court in the coming weeks. Im a nervous wreck mostly because I haven’t been to any court in person since the pandemic and have forgotten all the little things, like the logistics of getting myself to the hearing (where I park, where to go, etc) and now what new Covid protocols to follow. Anyone else experiencing these worries and does anyone have any tips for me?
Has anyone had an FPD week? Do you just basically do nothing all day or do you get crushed with BD work?
Maybe an ignorant question, but why do recruiters keep the company anonymous when they send messages? It's always "top tech company" or something vague.
Masks at open houses?
With flu season (and COVID season?) just around the corner, I’m thinking of asking buyers to mask up at showings. Good idea or am I going overboard?
What do we know about Y&R NYC

Graduated a web dev bootcamp back in 2018. Ended up taking a non coding job and was there for 2 years (contract expired). I now want to get back into coding after a long time off, but not sure where to start and how to go about getting a job in a market saturated with entry level devs. Any advice?

This also seems a bit out of my scope as a “regular” business analyst opposed to being a business systems analyst, but I’m all for getting the extra experience. It’s a very small company that’s expanding they have ZERO templates, procedures etc

I made it the final round "panel" interviews with Amazon for a hardware engineering role. Anyone got any tips or experiences with Amazon interviews for a HW-oriented role?
It's 5 hours total, first two rounds are with managers. What I've done in the past is give as many examples as I could for HW solutions that I worked on highlighting the tech skills. Wondering if I can do more?
I am a QA with some Automation Experience. I have 10 years of experience in QA world. How can I get a role in FAANG companies. Can someone give me some direction or steps?

I'm currently a Senior Data Analyst. Over the past 5 years I've worked in marketing analytics and currently in supply chain analytics however, I'm looking to get into a product analytics(senior) role. I've been seeing job postings which requires A/B testing experience which is not something I have done professionally in my analytics journey. Any suggestions how I should break into product analytics?
Would love to chat if anyone is hiring for such a role!
I've seen a few colleagues leave to start their own businesses. Some have done well and some have really struggled, and it honestly seemed like the more "skilled" ones struggled more. Is that a lesson to stay in your tech skills lane vs take on being a founder?
Can you help me with Google vs. Uber vs. Microsoft? TC at Google and Uber is $390k, Microsoft is $370k. Google (L5) is supposed to be good WLB but slow growth. Not sure about the others.
I met with the CTO of a big name tech company the other day at a work event, who heard me present to customers via one of my colleagues. He was impressed and basically asked me to come and work for him. I currently work for a global cyber security firm and not unhappy in the job, but have been here for almost 3 years now, what would you do in this situation?
P.s this is only my second company. Was at previous place for 7 years (apprentice > senior network security engineer) before pre-sales.
The other day i posted about starting my full time carrer as a software developer and got reply that i need to be specific about what i want to know. So here it is today. I have uploaded my cover letter sample. Would you please give me some suggesions about it?
Fellow techies, or people in product - what are your opinions about trying to switch jobs for a larger salary? I am underpaid as I work for a small firm but I am happy where I am and there is job security. The economy does not look promising with layoffs and recession symptoms… what would you recommend? Stay or take a new job for significant pay raise?
Any virtual python classes y’all like for absolute coding beginners? Ideally something with cohorts or some human interaction element for accountability!

I don’t quite understand questions like these. A career in finance is widely different from say product marketing. I would first start by figuring out what type of work excites you and try to land a job in that field. Once you’re in with a company you can network with other groups and see if your skills/interests align better with those teams. For example, in my PMM role I’ve been networking with the business development teams because my interests are gravitating towards that line of work.
