Looking to pivot from the contractor side to the client side of a project controls/project management role. I am currently waiting to hear back from Occidental Petroleum for a Project Controls Specialist role. Should I expect similar pay, or more? Currently at a base of $108,000. 6.5 YOE, MBA graduate, position is based out of Houston, TX headquarters. Anyone have insights into Oxy’s quality of benefits? Do they offer sign on? Yearly bonus etc.? How were you able to negotiate your offer?
Nope. Definitely at the Consultant level.
Lol fake news
^likely because they were at BCG before going to business school and decided to go later in their career than typical
@Mck1, is it one level below that then?
Yes, one level below.
But BCG is not giving up titles like candies. They become also partners super quickly
At least at McK, if youre sponsored for bschool you come back as a Senior Associate and start EMing pretty soon. But if you weren't an em before you left you're certainly not hired back as one. Imagine it must be the same for bog
Mentor
Yes, at bog you come back as max(consultant, prior role)
OP is right. Some INSEAD folks have joined BCG as PL post MBA in EU offices
I call bullshit. No chance. I have NEVER heard of this happening, ever. The ONLY way this is possible is if the person worked at BCG before, but even then, I know of several who were sponsored by BCG and would never be given PL immediately post-MBA.
You mean PL? And no.
