(Posting for my mom) Anyone have ideas of different lessons she can do as a teacher to show to students? They’ve assigned games to play but she is wondering what else she can show during class

Reading? Dice games for math (roll the dice and add the numbers).

They are in 2nd grade

What subject? Do 2nd graders have different subjects?

Well she teaches Title I but specifically reading and math

Around the world with math? Ask 2 kids a math question, first one to answer correctly faces up against the next kid, until he/she faces every kid in the class and makes it "around the world"

To all the post-9/11 veterans, it’s a somber day that unites us all in the reason we fought. It’s easy to forget - especially with the younger generation having 9/11 be a history lesson rather than something they lived through. The waters became muddy with two wars and politicians, but you all stepped up and did your duty. Thank you all for your service, it’s an honor whether we crossed paths or not.

My wife and I would like to retire at age 50 (or earlier). We’re in our early 30s. We’ve been maxing out 401ks and IRAs for years and started contributing 20k a year into a taxable account to start filling the gap since we can’t access 401k until 55. At what point should we be reducing 401k/IRAs and redirecting to the taxable account? Otherwise our income balloons late in life. Curious how others are managing this.
