Need advice on what to do with my money as a 24 y/o making 100K in HCOL. Should I passively invest and how/where should I invest it to maximize returns without too much risk. My stats are: -20K in HYSA -25K in a regular checking account, 15K of which is for a 6-8 month emergency fund -2K in 401K (new company does not match, but I recently upped my contribution to 12%)

I’m 3 years into strategy consulting (eg, market entry, commercial DDs, market growth, etc) and I’m curious what industry exit opportunities are out there beyond joining an in-house Strategy team. I don’t have any real technical skills beyond ppt and model making. I’m great with people and know how to structure strategy projects. I’m having a hard time visualizing where my skills fit in industry.
