Don’t be a scab. Stay somewhere else
I’d bug them for points. It’s affecting your quality of life and stay
OW...care to elaborate ?
That’s the point of a protest?
A scab is someone who crosses picket lines. Usually it’s to work rather than be/stay on strike. OW wants you to be pro-union. This isn’t the forum to discuss union politics
I don’t know how me trying to get points from the hotel makes me anti-union
In some countries (e.g. Australia), the word “scab” might be synonymous with “money grabber” or “tight ass”.
More commonly around the world, it refers to a worker crossing a picket line, not a customer.
Either way - I think M1 has a point...
... just trying to see if ppl were successful in getting points or nights...
Ya - interested in what you mean OW
All OW said was don’t be a scab. Unsure how M1 thinks we’re discussing union politics. Even if we were, so what. The word “union” scare you too much M1.
M2 - if someone is name calling and telling OP not to be a “scab” in a union dispute, that’s prima facie evidence of a union-centered discussion. I’m happy to discuss union politics, but only in the correct forum.
... well this got diverted. Thanks anyway
“Prima facie evidence”. Too much CSI there M1.
