Expect to be getting an offer for in-house at a start up soon. Currently at a mid-size firm. Have decent book of business and managing several pending litigation matters. How much notice should I plan on giving? Two weeks does not seem like enough, and I want to do right by the firm (and colleagues) I’m leaving as they’ve always been good to me.

Dog blanket recommendations for couch? Looking for a blanket I can throw on the couch to minimize dirt, fur, etc. Doesn't have to be a blanket made "for dogs" but rather something that's machine washable and generally would look put together. Don't want to spend an insane amount on it since it will after all be a blanket dogs lay on

What is the average hike in Nagarro for a lateral at 22lacs Ctc as PMO. In the company ?

Sebior associate just got stealth fired from a V10 (i.e., there's no business case to promote you in October out of the associate pool because of COVID). Will likely be given a formal recommendation to look elsewhere in September but it seems clear their mind is made up. Any advice? Is there any value in considering an employment lawyer re severance etc? Not sure whether to apply now for jobs ideally starting early next year or to wait and take some time off completely.

Like which kind of job I could apply for and get hired that would help me to climb up the fastest?
Thank you in advance!

Currently do all my non-retirement investing through Wealthfront and I can see that their 5 year return for a portfolio with a risk score of 7/10 is only 5.45% (net of fees).

Isn't that super low? The 5 year return on a fund like VTI is 10%. VOO is even higher. I know WF helps manage downside better with cash and bonds, but I can't help but feel like I'm leaving a lot of money on the table by not just buying funds through Charles Schwab or similar.

Hi all, so I am one month in to this new PR job as an account manager. For the most part it’s been good and I really feel like I have a great team. However, I’m coming from a public affairs and comms job with a local government. Currently I am struggling with media pitching and writing tasks.
