I did at 32 weeks at doctor's recommendation. Some fish here have gone up to 34. Others stopped earlier because of complications. Biggest thing for me was proactively letting my client know the specific time I would stop being onsite so they could plan it.

Would it be taken wrong if I suggest that for birthdays and Christmas instead of toys people deposit whatever they were going to spend in my baby’s 529 account?

I can’t imagine I am posting this but want to hear options on how to make it work. I currently live in the US and I don’t have parents. I have a sister who is in a situation that can’t help me much . I married my husband after 5y together- have a toddler and 7 mon pregnant. He has been abusive for the last few months and since last few days calling me bitch in front of my toddler. Was getting yelled at by senior manager via Zoom for going over budget.
Didn’t respond, just dropped from the call Intentionally, due to the tone/ aggression shown.
Gave him 3 minutes to calm down and rejoined the zoom call.
He settled down and adjusted his tone.
Do you guys think I need to report to HR this behavior or just let it go? I’m a professional not a child to berate.

Are there women here that have a significantly larger income than their male partner/ spouse? My husband used to make a little more money 10 years ago when we first met (when we were both making under 60k). Then I started climbing a fast track career ladder and now make a total comp of close to 300k and he is still under 80k... (which is totally fine with me btw). But I have noticed that this has caused a lot of serious issues for our relationship. any advice?

Hi Fishers,
I am a Product Owner with 6 yoe and a mother of newly born. My current package is 12lpa and average 11-12 hrs working with work from office for 7-8 hrs, remaining calls/work from home. In such scenario taking care of the baby has become very challenging.
I have been considering job switch for a while but have lots of doubt in my mind. Will a new mother be hired? Working 12 hrs will only ensure good package? If i insist on work life balance, will it affect the package? Thoughts plz

Really burning out from everything. I’m back after maternity leave and my full time schedule just kicked in. Baby girl just turned 5 months and is at home with family. Oldest in preschool. I just can’t do it all. I can work 8 hours sure but I mean I’m going 9-5, back on for a half hour 530-6, back off until 8. In my “down time” I am breastfeeding or having dinner with family then going through the entire childcare routine. I get everyone ready in the AM. I do drop off and pick up. I can’t breath

Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture
