Pretty sure co-worker is having his exit interview right now. Was talking about getting fired last week but first meeting with mgr signaled no firing. He looked super sad going in... 😕

I respect the Monday firing. Now this guy can wallow from Tuesday through Friday, have a decent weekend, and start hitting up his network next Monday in a good state of mind. ... this is better than ruining someone's weekend in my opinion.

That shit should happen on a Friday, not a Monday.

Sorry to hear that. I've only witnessed one performance-based termination in three years at Slalom. It was pretty ugly.

Yeah I personally don't know the guy that well, but I hate seeing people get fired, let alone leave the company. Kind of puts my in a crummy mood

Most people at slalom should see it coming....we let people sit in the becnh for way too long

Depends on the office, Atlanta has gotten pretty good at getting rid of people from consultant level to account teams

Its shitty to see...but if you cant get staffed after 4 months you should look to exit before the ax comes way down the line

Any idea why he got fired? Bench time? Performance? Sales? So rare here I'm curious

There is definitely a push these days to not let people ride the bench for very long (compared to our old standard)...granted we are still super generous compared to the big guys
