Pretty sure k8s has made me cross eyed

I have a great relationship with my partner (work with him about 70%). I’ve always felt like he had my back. I wasn’t promoted this year which prompted me to start looking outside, there are other reasons too as I thought about path to partner, WLB, hot market. I now have an offer in the industry which is 100% wfh and in cybersecurity. Need help on how to approach the conversation with him? Where do I even start? I know there will be pushback/guilt and I’m dreading the discussion.
