I wanted to pass along a sales class opportunity for all of yall. I will add the disclaimer that I am in no way making any commission by showing you this. In fact, I am paying myself to take this course.
The presenter Jamal is a down-to-earth guy that has a passion for sharing what he has learned in his sales career. He is responsible for bringing in $160M projects at Oracle. Give the course a look if you are interested.

It's hard to find a product to sell which is so obviously the front running choice in a market. You have to be seriously out executed to lose a deal from mid market on up to enterprise. This wasn't necessarily the case when I was there 10+ years ago but I believe it to be true now... At least if we're talking about sales cloud.

I overlooked how political it was and i should have invested more time in politicking vs delivering on the number. Boomerang employees in my experience were not doing well prior to leaving and now are leading in high profile high risk jobs. So I’ll be interested to see how far the brand takes them. It was a good company, my quality of life is much higher after leaving, stress level way down, and paycheck way up. So... boomerang? Not sure why I would do that to myself.
I agree. I just left for a significant pay increase. Looking on past jobs to be honest I'd have to say salesforce was my least favorite. There isn't really anything I liked more at salesforce except the free lattes

I wasn’t in a hub that had lattes made by experts. I had a machine.... love HQ and the Ohana floor!
