Top 10 MBA or bust if you are already a consultant at a reputable firm.
Depends on your goals. There's only two reasons to get an MBA: to buy knowledge and connections faster than you will acrue them in your career. If you're a switcher, this value proposition makes a lot of sense because you won't get knowledge in a career you don't have. An entrepreneur can also benefit by filling their knowledge blind spots, by buying the branding and network of a B school to help their ventures take off, or by meeting an angel. But if you're a grower like me, you need to set very realistic targets about your career trajectory (if I don't make X, then I'll get my MBA) and you very likely will find yourself in my case already making more than the typical M7 graduate, in the industry you want, and doing the job you want.
Each year, I met my salary goal where I said, "If I make X I won't need to get my MBA," for the past 8 years. Now, unless someone bankrolls an EMBA for me, getting one just doesn't make financial sense.
D1 is right unless you need to pivot out
Or if ur salary is already 120+, then might not be worth it
