Okay I’m going to say it if hasn’t been said before: I want the option to go back to the office now. I get some of you have kids or prefer wfh but I can’t stand it. I hate being cramped up and some people also live with toxic family members. We should make it optional for those who want/need to come back
Hi. I have a question. In a world where COVID is under control, how would you feel if your companies went back to being fully in the office? But maybe others were adopting a hybrid model- some days remote, some days in the office. Would it make you want to work elsewhere? How important is being able to work remote (at a location of your choice, not at client /travelling) a few days a week to your job satisfaction?
Previously burnout but now recovered from wfh. Unsure if I should still quit since most of my friends are gone Background: -homegrown senior and have received early promotion (Cont.)
Anyone else experiencing toxicity in remote startup environments? Greater abuse of time and personal freedom, less encouragement of empathy from leaders, delusions of far greater diversity accomplishments, lack of clarity and communication… How to clear the air and establish structure from afar… or GTFO?
Guidehouse folks! What perks do you have, i.e. coffee and meals expensed, Uber/Lyfts expensed, flexible/remote work?
What’s the ideal mix of workplace flexibility and discipline? Looking to take my team to the next level, and while we want to preserve remote work and “as-long-as-it-gets-done”, we want accountability
Anyone know of any agencies open to a fully remote copywriter (East Coast, USA, if that matters, but I’m not fussy)? I'm struggling to get back into the real agency world after some time in small-market purgatory. Also, if there are any CDs willing to check out my book and give me an honest assessment on whether they think it's good enough to get a job with, it would be much appreciated. Can DM anyone willing to have a look.
6th year L&E associate here and thinking about transitioning to a position with better WLB. How do you go about getting a government job and are they flexible about WFH, at least a couple of days a week? Recruiters reach out all the time, but always about other firm positions. Tips/ advice much appreciated!
Base office in NYC, but been living in Texas for the past couple of months and might stay here for the next few months (since wfh is the default in my firm now) - can I get away from paying NY income taxes?
what if we find out this wfh thing is better than traveling and going to the office? THEN WHAT DO WE DO?
Fun poll: what are the two things you'd hate to run out of while wfh? For me, it's face cream and chili salt.
I just separated from my husband and will be filing for divorce this week. I have removed myself from the home. Should I tell my job I’m going through a divorce? I do work from home and it’s possible I may have to take a few days off to regroup.
We are looking to hire some great Sales experts on our team. Great WLB, remote and competitive pay. Please DM me if you are interested.
This is my first job, and the experience is super weird as its WFH. What mistakes have you made in your career that you wish had been avoided?
How has your agency preserved company culture while the office has been closed and all employees are WFH?
How are people "networking" now that we are wfh? I mean, you are barely even aware if people still work in the same company. Previously, you at least saw them every now and then at the office but now... They could have fired half the company and I wouldn't know
I have rollover IRA 180K all invested into FXAIX. Any suggestion on different diversity options and percentage I should invest in different options?

What is the best answer you have received for the question "what is your compensation expectation"
I’m looking for assistance on building your own portfolio in my traditional 401K. I’ve been reading that it’s important to choose funds with low expense ratios. Also, that it is recommended to have at least one US stock, international stock , and bond. I am 24yo so ideally, I’d want to allocate 90%-100% to stocks and 0%-10% to the bond. Any other things I should be looking at?
If I’m going from mid level to senior at 100k currently, what should I be expecting in terms of a salary raise to that level? In NYC
Any suggestions on how to handle being micromanaged - or how to handle someone who gives copious amounts of feedback and has high standards/is a perfectionist, but ultimately is not directly responsible for the success of the project?
For those of you that have had COVID, how long did you wait before returning to work? (remotely) Still feeling a bit clammy and my back is super achey but overall much better than I was a few days ago. Just curious when others said “good enough” and started working.
Can anyone speak to their experiences at Feinberg Hanson? Culture, satisfaction with the work, work-life balance, etc?

Required Education. Almost all jobs nowadays requires a bachelor’s degree (rarely substitute by experience). If an applicant has all the job requirements, but lacks the education, are they automatically disqualified or filtered out? How flexible is HR with education if it is a requirement?
