Problem:
There is a table. Column A:D are mapped to column E with unique records. In a new column (Q), there is a list of values that that contain any randomized value from Columns A:D. What is the syntax to map Column Q to column E?

Is using INDEX/MATCH the right direction?

Try to string together 4 VLOOKUPs (one for each column A:D) with IFNA or IFERROR

smart

Lemme see if I got it:

Columns A:D have some values maped to a column E (who has unique columns). Column Q has a value that can be in either column A:D (and maybe more than one column if duplicate).

You want column Q to return the name of the column where that value was found - but you want to return the name of the first occurrence, or all the columns A:D with that number (like "A,B,D" in the cell value, since all those 3 had the same value as cell in column Q)

Also, if L2 ID was 2222, but L4 ID was also 2222, what is supposed to happen?

Wow you’re so helpful. Thought I’d only get criticism for not using stack exchange. I’ll pull up an example

My H1-B expires on April 2022. My perm is currently in process and they are applying for H1B extension and H4 visa extension for my spouse. The immigration team said that they can apply for an H4 ead as well. Is that possible? My H1b visa started April 2016 on i-94 and and is stamped as start date April 2016. I have only been physically in the US for 5 years and 2 months. I am confused on how can they still file for an EAD? Am I missing something?
