Revenue is likely tied to billable hours while actual costs are likely tied to OOP costs aka out of pocket costs which are direct bill hours eg if you were a freelancer and direct billed to the client
I wouldn’t read too much into it. Unless you also do time sheets through work front.

They probably put your bill rate into the platform but not your cost rate. Probably an oversight/platform quirk.
It means Workfront isn't set up correctly to capture and/or report on that information. Some agencies use that info from Workfront and some don't. If I were you, I'd ignore it.

I may be alone in this, but I have no insight into or way of tracking agency staff hours. I only track editor days, and I don’t use a program to do that, just compare my calendar and edit scope burned through to my bids

Does that mean you worked over 40 hours so essentially at $0 cost to agency but they are still billing you past the 40 @ $500/hr?
