Does a project's budget affect a developer's opportunity for a raise/promotion? For example, if the budget for your current project is tight, does that mean you're less likely to get that good raise and/or promotion (assuming you deserve/earned it) if that project will be continuing into the next year?

First year in a litigation group stuck on a case where all they give me is data entry work all day (updating charts, excel sheets, etc). This work doesn’t seem to have any relevance to litigation skills whatsoever, and because this case is so much work (and the partner is territorial), it’s all I do all day, every day, even weekends. I wouldn’t mind the hours I was building relevant skills, but this is work the client’s HR dept should be doing. It’s frustrating and insulting. What should I do?

So I performed a good deed this weekend by calling a drunk stranger an uber ride. 23 year old kid who lost his phone and lost his friends. He actually climbed into my uber and kept asking for help. For some reason I let him in my uber and then called him a separate one. I even gave him my mask. Is there a way that I can contact the driver to see if he made it alright?
