But who else will make weekly deep dive and steer co decks to talk about progress?

likefunny

The time we waste on formatting internal ‘update’ decks that no client will ever see…

Gartner will be replaced by 2030, as collecting useless data will be automated. 😂😂😂

Soooo you hiring by any chance?

likefunnyuplifting

We keep saying this every 5 years and have been since the 60’s 🤣 the robots are coming and taking all of your jobs!!

likefunny

Lmao a lot can be automated, but a large majority of tasks still need human interaction

like

I stan PMs who are good at change management that requires a human conversation.

like

Prosci certification.

This is actually just a collective effort in behalf of non-PMO people to slowly start ghosting the project managers en masse. We will call it “automation”, but in reality we just don’t have the balls to tell you that we are tired of status reports.

likefunny

I see particularly that product management does not want PMO

Assuming people respond to automated status requests which no one does ever.

funny

Totally agree

If this actually happens the PMs will just transition into managing the automation software. It's like turbo tax and accountants

like

Pmo is not task management. Sure task management can be automated but you can’t automate the human side of forming, norming and storming

like

This is the same thing as “Miami is the new New York” people been saying that since the 80s but no real human would ever let that happen

So almost all of Gartner staff?

Hi Fishes, I got a call from a TCS manager last week and he interviewed me saying he received my CV from an external source. He shared his tcs email id, asked me to make minor modifications in the CV and then there will be a client interview. He said he will get back to me. I reached out to him 2 days later and he informed they were evaluating my eligibility with TCS. It has been 4 days since that and I have not heard from them. What does this actually mean? TIA.
