Associate Project Manager (software) - $93k. Masters degree. 2 years as an Implementation Consultant and 2 years as Associate PM.
Siemens. Fully remote
$120k, 7 years. Placed into program management to implement the ideas I had as a project manager. My job is now more of the setup and design of how a program or PMO should manage resources and technology.
$150k, 10 YOE, got into Program Managerment due to a mix of luck and skill. Joined a rapidly growing company in healthcare, started as a Project Specialist, then Project Analyst, then Project Manager, then Program Manager with promotions happening every 2-3 years. My Managers kept getting promoted and so did I. The hardest jump for me was from Project Analyst to Project Manager (I had to leave my company to get my first Project Manager job). I've been in a Program Manager position for a while now though, looking for my next step
