Yes you do. Need to do a PMG request

Depends on the length of the stay and your nationality. I'm currently staffed in Mexico city and wont need a visa if I'm staying here less than 180 days. I would reach out to your firms immigration team to see if you need special treatment.

For Netherlands, almost certainly yes. But immigration law is complicated, so your firm needs to consult an immigration lawyer about your case. You don’t want to be deported...

Always go through your firm's formal channels. Partners might ask you to cut corners but if you get busted it's your passport getting pulled, not theirs...

TIL going to a country for business is not the same thing as going to a country for work. Basically, without a visa, I can go if I don't do any "work." I can lead meetings but can't write reports, is the simple version I got.

Yeah, that’s a very fine line to walk. If you go every week, they will eventually ask questions

Typically, Schengen countries allow you to spend up to 90 days per 180 days without a visa. However Schengen visas are fairly easy to obtain, at least for US citizens.

Also, keep in mind that these rules change frequently, especially with our current nationalist regime

Yet again I’m watching a client fuck up a nice spot so bad I can’t put it in my reel. Absolutely disheartening.

This is stirring the pot but I truly have only met a few Account Managers that are good at managing clients. I’ve been in the industry for many years at this point I can only name maybe 5 Account Managers who truly knew what they were doing.

Learn to push back on unreasonable requests, provide solutions, and advocate for your client AND the agency (not JUST the client). The amount of weekends I’ve had to work because of incompetent AMs who believe their job function is to say yes to everything😭

Hi All :) I need advise on whether it is possible to get my first time H1B stamped at a US consulate in Canada ? I am required to travel to Canada anyway for my PR stamping and I am trying to figure out if I can get my H1B stamped around the same time while I am in Canada for my PR, since it is extremely difficult to get appointments in India these days? I am currently based in US. Thanks!

A few years into a career/resume it better (or how important) for the future to choose a client with bigger clients vs local clients?

I want to get to a point where I can have more agency in where I work. I know there are other considerations but would local ones make future searches harder? Particularly when you had a couple (but not a lot) of decently known clients on your resume in the past?

I've always thought bigger clients/companies can help be a base for your resume.

Disillusioned with the business world and now considering to change careers. Options I am considering are either going to med school or PhD/academia. I like both of them for being able to work with great degree of independence and intellectual challenge. I enjoy med and see it as having a big impact on people, but unsure of how flexible and intellectually stimulating it is compared to academia. Anyone any experience with PhD/academic career or med school and their pros/cons?

What are your suggestions on accepting a job offer in the following scenario:
The job location is in Japan, Tokyo. Since the borders are closed for Indians, my work location is remote in India for now. Salary is paid as per Indian market.
When the borders are open, I need to relocate to Japan. I haven't been told about the salary that I would get when I relocate. HR here says once borders open and the Japan company's HR will discuss on the salary range suitable for the Japan market.
