Promotion & salary increase question.

Im a project manager with 8 years of experience & currently managing 3 major projects that bring in minimum 10 million in licensing each year (before adjustment).

Currently I manage 15 developers & BAs + external teams & roughly a 6 million $ budget in professional service fees. I’m putting in 55-60 hour weeks and my job feels more like program management than a project manager.

What should I really be asking for here in a raise & comp cycle?

I am currently a practice manager for a large practice that is in 3 states with over 300 locations. The barrier to entry is low, not even sure if graduating high school is needed. My old agent even said she did it bc she can make a lot money and not work that much. She drove a new Mercedes and sent her kids to private school, husband was also an agent.

I wish to share my story:I was working with ICICI Bank Ltd as chief manager since last six years. Last year my father expired during lockdown. While he was sick and after his death I took leave for three weeks. After I joined back I was informed about transfer from Mumbai to Gidderbaha branch and was asked to report there. I requested for change in location but in vain, organisation did not even arranged for place to stay for single woman. I resigned now after few months with no job in hand

I was talking with my director the other day about how I think the US should be implementing longer maternity leave policies and generally better parental leave policies for parents who have given birth/had a partner give birth/adopted a child, and she said it was "a crackpot idea meant to push socialist agendas." Where do I even start...The countries with better parental leave policies are MILES ahead of us.

For those who lived in SF and/or NY before, do you have a preference? NY is great for finance opportunities but heard it's super cut throat. SF is great for tech opportunities and it seems more likely for females to find a relationship here compared to NY because more males than females here. Just by looking online, both places are comparable for rent and are small in apartment sizes.
